Zingisa Motloba is the new Board Chairperson of Business and Arts South Africa (BASA). Motloba describes herself as an Afro-optimist and an interconnector of ideas, people and processes. An admitted attorney and MBA graduate, Founder and Managing Director of ESG consulting firm Alchemy Africa, she has served as a Senior Legal Executive and Company Secretary in a number of public and private sector organisations. As such, Ms Motloba brings her sound experience in governance, passion for sustainability and inclusion, and a genuine love of the arts to this role.

Boitumelo Tumy Motsoatsoe is the Head of Programmes at Business and Arts South Africa NPC (BASA). She is also a coach, facilitator and a catalyst for growth and holistic development of the creative sector. Her current role includes strategic development and implementation of inclusive and impactful programmes for creatives in South Africa with partnerships including Rand Merchant Bank, Department of Sport, Arts and Culture as well as Digify Africa.
